The emblematic Beaver flag hung proudly from inception to end of the cultural hub that was known as The Beaver (2006-2020). The flag that this T-shirt pays homage to was created in 2006 by Will Munro to celebrate the new ownership and professional partnership with Lynn McNeill and under their stewardship the externally nondescript bar took on the key roll of redefining not just 1192 Queen W. but the entire neighbourhood.  Providing a brick and mortar facility for the myriad of Will Munro’s forays: art, cultural, musical and activist.
 
Proceeds from the sales of Beaver Flag T-Shirt will go directly to the Will Munro Fund for Queer and Trans People Living with Cancer at the 519.
 
Post Munro’s passing in 2010, after a two and half year fight with brain cancer, a legacy fund was created to help dispense emergency finances to members of LGBTQ2S+ community living with cancer. The Fund has largely been supported through donations and the maintenance of one of Will’s PRIDE parties, SHAME. As a response to the COVID hiatus on events, a limited run of Beaver Flag T-Shirts have been printed, with all profits from sales going to the Fund.
