This poster was originally part of Wendy Coburn's solo exhibition Anatomy of a Protest held at Art Museum, University of Toronto, from October 30 - December 19, 2014.
 
Anatomy of a Protest centres around her video on the world’s first Slutwalk which took place in Toronto, 2011. Highlighting the theatrics of a well-organized group of provocateurs, Coburn’s work poses a series of questions related to freedom of assembly, social justice organizing, and long-standing tactics at work in the contested space of public protest.
 
Poster sales will support a forthcoming catalogue produced in conjunction with her current exhibition Fable for Tomorrow: A Survey of Works by Wendy Coburn at Onsite Gallery, which runs from February 16 - May 14, 2022.
